25 year anniversary reception

Our special 25 year anniversary reception welcomed previous winners, campaign partners, as well as royal guests. Learning and Work Institute's Patron, HRH Princess Anne, met with the winners and presented last year's Patron's Award winner, Emily Hicks with her award. Alan Tuckett OBE, former NIACE CEO and founder of Adult Learners' Week told us how we went about setting up Adult Learners' Week, and Lesley Reece, a regional award winner in 2016, shared details of her learning journey and read us a poem.
