Learning Provision Award

As one of only two adult residential colleges in England, Fircroft College provides a safe and welcoming environment for learners from the West Midlands by offering wraparound support and care. The college engages with learners who are furthest from the labour market, and who often have multiple and complex needs.

Learning Provision Award

When the pandemic hit in March 2020, Bristol City Council saw a unique opportunity to join-up support services across homelessness, learning, employment, life skills and health support. Rough sleepers in Bristol with complex needs could finally access the specialised and tailored support they needed to gain essential skills and secure employment.

Nurturing Recovery is run in partnership by Bridgwater & Taunton College, North Somerset Council and a number of other local agencies to support adults with a range of addictions and mental health issues through tailored horticulture programmes.
