Positive People – Pluss
Positive People, a partnership project led by social enterprise Pluss, operates across Cornwall, Devon and Somerset offering a learning lifeline to the most socially excluded and vulnerable people in society.
Equal Voices was developed by learning provider ELATT following a call from East London Citizens UK chapters (TELCO) for more representation of people from migrant backgrounds in campaigning.
City Lit first opened their doors for enrolments in September 1919 and in their first century have supported well over a million adults in London to learn.
Barclays Premier League Works
The innovative Barclays Premier League Works programme used the Leicester City brand to target the hardest to reach individuals, including looked after children and care leavers. It aimed to give learners a sustainable future within employment, training or education.
Talk English helps people with low levels of English language skills to improve their spoken and written communication skills and become more involved in the community. So far, Talk English volunteers have supported more than 16,500 adults learning English.
